ACCESS Program for Women in Science and Mathematics
Description
$3,500 cash stipend award for incoming and transfer students admitted as a matriculated (degree seeking) student for fall semester 2010. During the ACCESS program you will attend a seven-week integrated science course designed specifically for the ACCESS program during the summer before your first year at the University of Utah, which will be applied to your general education requirements. During the spring semester, you will be placed in a paid research laboratory position in one of hundreds of laboratories available across campus, based on your interest.
NOTE: Students who choose to accept the ACCESS program, if awarded, are REQUIRED to attend the seven-week summer course, which begins June 14, 2010, and ends on August 4, 2010.
